The G Family Lifestyle

Family Photography Session

On my most recent trip to Minnesota, I had the opportunity to photograph my sister and her beautiful family.  I wanted to try a sunset session so I could capture some golden hour memories for her and her family.  It was a beautiful afternoon and turned into an even more magnificent evening.  The kids had a great time exploring a new park and I loved spending time with them.

As a photographer, it is sometimes easy to forget how much work goes into preparing for a session like this for the client especially when kids are involved.  I witnessed this first hand, since I was staying with my sister and I was helping her and the kids get ready.  So to all my photographer colleagues, I hope you don’t take your clients for granted when they show up to the session beautifully coordinated and on time.  We sometimes forget how much goes into the planning process.

After about an hour, the kids were getting restless and the sun was setting.  It was a wonderful session and I my hope is that this family will cherish these memories for a lifetime.

Ljubica I Personal Branding Photo Shoot

I had the pleasure of photographing Ljubica at her home in St. Louis. Ljubica is a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty in Chesterfield. She wanted to have some updated branding headshots for her business. You can find her business and listings at  https://ljubicatodorovic.kw.com

Ljubica and I met through our kids’ school. She has a son in the same grade as my son and a daughter in the same grade as my daughter.  She invited me to her home for her photographs and I had so much fun! She has a charismatic personality and she is fun to be around.

I think she looks absolutely gorgeous and I love her curly hair and beautiful blue eyes.

The Myer Family Lifestyle

Newborn Lifestyle Session

I had the pleasure of documenting some precious memories for this family of 4. Emilie and Jonathan are wonderful parents to Isabel and baby Maddox. Emilie is an elementary school teacher and she was a bit surprised by Maddox’s one week early arrival. That day she had felt more tired than usual and decided to stay home from school. Emilie and Jonathan went to the hospital when things didn’t feel right so they could “just make sure everything was fine” but instead they were admitted and baby Maddox was welcomed into this world on April 13, 2018. He is a wonderful baby and wakes up exactly every 3 hours to feed at night. Jonathan is very hands-on dad and helps with feedings, diaper changes, and lots of cuddles. Big sister Isabel loves to read to Maddox and she cannot wait until Maddox is a bit older and more interactive. Isabel was a delight to talk to while mom and dad were attending to baby Maddox. She told me about her newest stuffed animal, a “caticorn”. That is a combination of cat and unicorn. She loves to arrange all her stuffed animals around the edges of her bed and she makes herself a comfortable space in-between to sleep. Isabel is in second grade and looks forward to summer and third grade.

“I like her. She is nice. Other photographers just keep saying 1, 2, 3 smile,” said Isabel to her mom after our session together. I was honored and grateful.
